Elsewhere By:Gabrielle Zevin

I chose this picture because this represents a major turning point in Elizabeth's (the main character) life/death. Elizabeth needed to stop her obsession with watching people on earth in order to feel happy in her afterlife. She needed to start anew and meet new people. If we don't move on we start to feel 'trapped' in our own skin.

  2. I really like this picture because many people and myself have always looked back in the past instead of the future. Based on what you told me about your book, I think it represents the character well. I also find you last statement true because I have once felt trapped in the past but I learned to move on. Nice choice of pic!:)

  3. I completely agree with your last statement and picture. Lots of people reflect on what has happened to them but never realize that if they move forward, things will get better.

  4. I like how your book is not like regular ISU books. Usually books talk about issues in real life, and are pretty realistic. However, your book shows how life beyond reality also has issues.
